Dr. Adolfo M. Alonso is Board Certified in Cosmetic and Reconstructive surgery. He is the Chief of Plastic Surgery at St. Agnes Hospital and Harbor Hospital. He was the past president of the Medical staff at St. Agnes Hospital.

Dr. Alonso completed his plastic surgery training at Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, New York and completed his five years general surgery training at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.

Dr. Alonso is an active member of the John Staige Davis Society of Plastic Surgeons and also a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.

He is actively involved in training surgical residents and medical students and his is also involved in organizing surgical missions to underdeveloped countries.

Dr. Alonso was given the Governor Citation Award for outstanding service to the community by former Governor Schaefer.
